It's the digital version of the EOS 300X.

hmmm actually if i'm not wrong SD card is more sturdy than the CF card.. LOL can withstand much more shock, and is waterproof..
LOL ah well, if there's a new 3000D, it's sorta a good and bad news.. haha I suppose it may create a invisible floor to how much the 2nd hand price of a 350D can fall..

size is never an issue in DSLR, or else mind as well get PnP cams instead...

Sigh. OK, me bad, didn't clarify. My "big" is not in terms of physical size, but in terms of "big" in line - 350D, 20D, 5D and 1D series.

Anyway, I don't see the big (pun intended) issue using SD/MMC rather than CF on DSLRs. Prices of SD/MMC is on par with CF cards in the market today.

This rumored 3000D has been around for quite some time already, around the same time 5D was rumoured to be released.

design reminds me of a prosumer cam from another brand.. konica i think.. it has a grip simliar to this. :dunno: but I'll call it a fake. The model 3000D might be real.. but this brouchure is definitely a hoax to me.

3000D's body design is similar to the EOS 300X.
