Just saw this....looks very interesting. Very much like the 3 axis gimbals for Gopros except you can use this to mount your BMPCC/GH4/A7s, Smartphones and anything up to 1kg as well.

Price seems reasonable too at 700USD. Not much info on it yet though as it was just released on their website. No manual, no specs etc. There's an app for tuning and it comes with a casing as well.

A video sample from their youtube page.

Can see the other video samples on their page too.

I would suggest ya'll wait a few months, the 3 axis gimbals for small cams is a market that will open up really fast really soon.

Currently a lot of new start ups and existing companies are developing brushless gimbal solutions for small cameras, they should come to market really soon.

Here is another company you can find doing this...

The Nebula 4k is available on taobao for RMB4030, not including international shipping. Thats abt SGD800. Its branded under 星云.

Fwah! Rodney! We will be waiting for your review! Haha

Yup thats the one! So who else is getting? Maybe can do a m.o n see if can get better price.

I would be interested if anyone is MOing. But anyone found the apps used for tuning? There's no link on the website.

An almost 1 hour video on how to calibrate and setup the Nebula 4000 as well as how to mount an external monitor and an Iphone on it.

this thing is complex. Saw some video where a guy took 20 mins to balance the GH4 on this thing. And that's for one lens. Everytime you change a lens, you'll need to rebalance again. After that you need to muck around with the software and change various parameters for you camera / lens combinations. It will take a few rounds of trial and error before you strike on a combination of parameters that will give you good results and that's only for one camera/lens combination.

Something to rival the Nebula 4000

Pilotfly H1 3-Axis gimbal now open for pre-orders

Hopefully it is less problematic than the Nebula and easier to balance. Same limitations of 1000 gram payload though.

At least the balancing video is not an hour long

Thanks for the update. I think can wait till technology evolves further?

Thanks for the video. Amazing that such a small a gimbal can support a mirrorless camera! Not as well-built as a Nebula though.
