There are so many things to shoot at MOG, so no point going to the zoo to shoot liao. Don't over work yourself.

Yea...after a whole morning at MOG, I doubt anyone would have the energy to go to the zoo, especially those carrying heavy teles...

Team, Any specification of the minimum gears that would be required.. I do not still own a macro lens..all that I have is
EFS 18-55 Kit lens, 70-200 F4L & SIgma 28-300... Kindly advise..

just in case anyone out there who are reading this thread..we welcome anyone with any skill level to join in our photo outings. Even if you are using PnS camera you can join in.If you have just bought a new camera come and join us! If you are not sure of your camera or skill do come and join us, we can all learn together. :bsmilie:

Any equipment can do...I've used the 18-55mm kit lens as a macro lens before, works fine...or hopefully someone in the group will have extension tubes that you can borrow..

Brother, your gear is more than sufficient. You can use your 70-200 or 28-300 to capture the Sunbirds.

Are you into Macro? If not, then don't waste your money buying a Macro lens. You can use extension tube on your 70-200 to shoot Macro. Too bad your 70-200 is not the f2.8 version, otherwise you can try my 500D filter (i.e. 77mm thread size) for Macro. You will be impressed by it.
