There'll be a transit of Venus occurring on the 06th of June 2012, it will be visible from Singapore during sunrise.

The next transit of Venus will be on the 10th to 11th of December 2117, so no one alive today will get another chance to witness it.

Maybe catching it in China would be cheaper - but I am not too sure about the air pollution though!
