Nonsense, there are many civil helicopters here just not registered with the CAAS.

i had the distinct impression that almost all of Singapore is a civil-chopper no fly zone
Like I partially mentioned here just four days ago, there are two over-water (Alpha / Bravo) helicopter transit routes along the northern and southern coastline of Singapore and one over-land (Charlie) helicopter transit route through Central North-Western Singapore here though Heli-Route Charlie is seldom used as the majority of civilian helicopter flights are directed via Heli-Route Alpha and Bravo to and from Seletar Airport (WSSL).

Interesting to note that there are several skyscrapers with helicopter landing pads for "special usage" within the radius of restricted area (WSR38) which I had referred to previously in the indicated post as mentioned earlier.

It is a joke! And what is so funny is people are still buying cars. Stop the buying for 3 months and let the system collapse.
+1..
+1..

Can Singaporeans stop buying cars? The reality is "No". No matter how expensive is the item, Singaporeans will find ways and means to find the short fall so that they still can still afford it at the end of the day.

I pity the ones who need goods & services Cat. Those businesses/people/students that need transport will deifintely pass the cost back to public.

S$9K depreciation on the coe paper alone per year excluding parking, maintenance, road tax/insurance & depreciation of car. :hung:

did you say, cat? meow. anyway for goods which are price inelastic, suppliers will pass costs on to consumers.

Coe policy is indirectly driving inflation ¡

I think its directly driving the inflation.. along with property prices

same same to HDB... sure win, 50 years not enough.... i give you 60 years.....

bullshit..... do we really need more flats...

Either you are a stayer or quitter. If you can't quit, then just have to live with it. You can't do anything except venting your frustration over the internet forums, etc.

On the other hand, if you can afford to quit, then it is good for you. You will see a better future.

hammer the policy makers. we must see blue skies and not lightning

The choice is yours: get hammered or get struck by lightning. The Audi just turned into zeroes, look like we have to pay through our nose for the COE.

Dun vote for the people who devised the COE scheme ......problem gone ......

Dun vote for the people who devised the COE scheme ......problem gone ......

It would take a revolution to change this. Heads will have to roll ...

Some people sold their vote (and maybe their soul) for a bus ride and a few packets of chicken rice.

I read about that too ...... Not to mention the abalone porridge they chipped in for breakfast ......

Young couple need a car to ferry their new born babies, to parents and in laws home....
Cannot afford car or child? They have to decide?
Don't give birth now.... Buy car first, if COE goes higher then cannot afford.
After buying the car, the young couple delay family planning.
Declining child birth rate, who to blame?

How about free COE as part of child incentive package? Do that and there won't be complaints that the chickens cannot lay eggs ....:p

They heard you.

One small step for them, one giant leap for Singapore.

Merdeka dan Majulah!

Think i will have sweet dreams tonight.
