1st Visit To The Helix & Marina Bay Sands with Nikon 10-24mm lens

Nice photos

What time and which day of the week did you take these photo?

i was waiting under the bridge yesterday evening and the light was yellow-orange .. not blue ... ... if the colour random? or is there a scheduled timing?

To TS and all

My comment was meant to be in good taste and with compliment to TS excellent shots. Pls don't interpret it literally.

Btw who says you need to have a very good camera to capture this moments? Can't a normal camera capture?

Anyway TS, u have really done a good job in all ur night shoot. Very good in capturing all the best moments during the dawn to completly dark sky.

Hi, thank you for your comment & viewing.

I took those shots on the 31 May 2010 from 7pm till 9.30pm. Spend most of the time walking around the place & exploring good location to shoot. It was a lucky day to have clear blue sky on that evening looking towards the south.

Hi, thank you for your nice comment for viewing my shots.

Yes I agree, you're right we don't need a good camera to capture such shots, even my LX3 should be able to do it. I'll bring my LX3 to take the same location sometime later to see any great different.

Thank you for your comment & viewing. There wasn't any boat moving around there that's why the water stays very still. :)

nice! love#1..but some tend to be a lil too sharp, imo. but if its right out from e camera, as what the previous posts said, these are rly nice :)

Yes, the sharping are done in the camera itself by adjusting it's sharpness either by +1 or +2. Thank for your comment & viewing. :)

I still own my Nikon 16-85mm lens, just wanna try out my friend's Nikon 10-24mm lens on my D5000. I'm impress by the lens sharpness after taking a few shots even at max. aperture.

Hope my next visit to Helix & MBS I'll shoot with my 16-85mm lens.
