Using Canon 600D Kit II Lens. 18-135mm

technically i think mostly is fine.
Nice and sharp.
Decent control of exposure, though certain photos are overexposed in the very brightly-lit areas.

The main issue is with the composition, I feel.
Be careful of (unwanted) objects in the frame, and whether they are distractions or not.
#1 and #2 (btw you should number your photos) have some scoreboard/display thing at the bottom of the frame.
#2 has chopped off the MBS towers, which I feel isn't a good idea.

Yeah thanks.. Yes i know about the chopped off MBS tower though. Cause i wanna capture the Helix Bridge.
So really cant get the right position for it.
For #1 & #2, I was positioning myself at the steps or higher.. thats why you can see all those unwanted wall or railings in front of it.
Cause i was not sure roughly where to stand though.. perhaps i move down more?

beautiful new scene

I can't really say where is the best place to shoot it from. This will require you to do some walking around and some trial-and-error on your part.
I have not personally explored that immediate vicinity too thoroughly.

Canon 600D, with 18-135mm kit lens & a 50mm f1.8 II

My bad. Didn't look hard enough. You did mention this info in your first post.
18mm MAYBE not wide enough

can tell me how to make the photos sharp ? im using 550D and the image is like blur even i use a tripod !

a few factors I can think of that affect sharpness

1) tripod stability (if there is movement during the exposure, you can guess the end result)
2) aperture (most lenses are sharpest when stopped down slightly from max aperture)
3) focusing (should be accurate, needless to say)
4) sharpening in PP (using functions like 'unsharp mask' in photoshop, for example)

Hello,

Care to share with us you exposure setting and ISO ?

cheers

ISO 100.. i use Shutter Priority Mode.. i tune it about 11-15 sec.. 15 might be a bit bright, as you can see from some post feedback that some of my pics, some parts a bit overexpose :D
You can try between these range or maybe lower a bit :D Of coz lastly is take it with tripod

Cheers

i find this place pretty nice to shoot. the only thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is the Floating Platform, which either blocks people trying to shoot the CBD from the flyer-side, and the helix bridge from the esplanade side

to TS:
get a UWA, and shoot from the railings in front in #1. that's the only spot to shoot the helix and front portion of the MBS without the seating gallery getting in the way. another place is Collayer Quay. alternatively, get on board the river taxi. but then you won't be able to use slow shutter speeds.
