1DX Mark II specification

Attended the Canon EOS Seminar today at Fusionpolis. Tried the demo 1DXmk2 and had some great fun with it. Operation wise, not much different from the old 1DX. According to Canon staff there, no local pricing yet, not sure how Hardwarezone and our fellow forumner got the above pricing. Anyway, it is a great camera, the speed, the focusing and the feel of the camera. Hope to upgrade to this camera when it is available next month.

Hi you are right, I don't hv the Canon Singapore pricing. I mistook the Australian pricing as the Singapore pricing whilst reading all my photography emails.. My bad. Sorry to all.

Singapore is around $8100-$8400, very similar to the price of mark 1 when it first launched.

i did the same today but yet to receive anything from them. Hopeless.

Question is when I can have it from local market.

If they are to tell me i have to wait for months then I might opt to order from B&H and join the pre-order queue.

If they are to tell me i need to wait a few weeks then i can weigh the benefits of having it earlier vs downsides (shipping/tax/warranty) etc.

But they choose to stay quiet.

Be patient. Canon Hong Kong website already have preorder price, without CFast and with CFast 128gb Price is around S$7k plus after conversion. So I doubt Singapore price can be much higher than in HK. If Singapore is alot more expensive, can always fly to HongKong for a short holiday and handcarry one back.

Was told HK was only assigned 100 sets in the first batch. Others have to join the queue and wait.

Does that include the 128GB CFast card and a Cfast reader? I was at a store and the guy wasn't sure n he said need to preorder. Price quoted $7420.
