This Thread is really poisonous. I am a D200 user, after seeing the photos and reviews, I am really impressed by the lens.(I have never used wide angle lens before, would like to have one to try out wide angle shooting)Any body out there using such lens on D200?

Agree with prolensdreamer, extremely poisonous.

Just curious to ask. Did anyone (who own this lens) shot with a film camera with (ISO 50) film before? Wonder how's the CA will be like at 14mm.

just wondering ah... since this lens has no filter cover, wouldnt it be very dangerous (fragile) and easy to get dirty. How you clean it also? I am very keen to get this when i get my D700 but was really concerned abt the filter problem.

Also, can we affix like those Cokin filters in front or it wont work because that also need filter thread right?

The widest I use is the DX format Sigma 10-20mm and Nikkor 12-24mm

The widest rectilinear I've used is the Sigma 12-24 on FX. ;p

Here's a 10.5mm FE shot with D60 for comparison.

I just got poisened. Bought mine lense at HK citicall. awesome lense but a bit heavy if you carry
it for 3 days walking around. But its FAST ... hehe. AND SHARP. hoho

Shhhhhhh......there are several banks nearby at Millennia....will do the job after kopi, then go CP to buy tomorow.

Also the more you buy they give you better discount. All are export set tho.
