13 assassins

LOL...

errr... to me, the samurai armour is a scared object, not meant for any fancy show-off.. nowdays got a lot of people getting it for sake of showing off

Samurai armour is scared becoz it has connection to a certain historical clans in feudal Japan.

Sure bro no problem, you can even bring it along when you drop by to train in the dojo. Hope it is not a 'display' type, and not 'sharp'... for safety reasons

Bro,

I have deep respect for the Samurai too.

If like that, i will go for Ninja outfit for my company D&D ...

A ninja who wear spectacles. LOL

Watch liao two weeks ago!!!! Nice movie! :) ..... Love the 13th assassin....He is dam Babarian.

 Good lah... unedited cuts... more blood and gores!

hope it is shown 'uncut' when in Singapore's cinemas

I think will. Not much on bloody and gores. The fighting is basic samurai style, except two scences which is the Barbarian using objects from the surrounding to fight and the other is using the "hundred" swords which were layed around the area to kill the enemy trapped in the section (It is my favourite!!!). Especially he tell his student, "Kill those who go pass me!" eventually all are dead before him. :bsmilie:

This show is a must watch. It taught people to respect a friend, master, shogun and enemy.

I am not sure and not familiar. :)
But by looking at the way they were trained on assassination, is any style that can kill is good enough.
The interesting part is not on the style, but on playing the tactics of war on the enemy.
Imagine 13 to 300 people. Before they start to fight, more than half of the enemy is gone.
This reduce ratio to roughly 1:10 or 15.

They play very good tactics on enemy reduction.

Strategy of the Arts of War by Sun Zi and Sun Bin? Mmmm... delicious!

From what i know, 'assassination' is best done without alerting the enemies... this is usually the works of shinobi.

Samurai prefers to fight head-on with the enemies, for the honour and glory of their lord/clan/school.

At the end of the days, swordmanship or any japanese combative skills are important as they will determined whether they will lives thru the battles :)

I can't wait to see the show...

Today... sneak preview at 3 cinemas: Shaw-Lido Cineplex, Shaw-Nex, and Cathy-Cineleisure Orchard!

However i have training tonite and busy tomorrow nite, so i will have to tahan till Saturday nite to watch it...

Just bought my ticket for tomorrow night... ah yo must tahan..

Last night watched it at 940pm in Cathy Cineleisure ..

the show especially the battle in town... damn bloody good!

btw, the number 13th assassin ... is damn funny especially the 'bonking' part... not a samurai but fought damn well like a yakuza.. and he's an immortal... kinda of a Japanese mountain spirit..
