Bro, The image of white tiger and lion were taken using the Sigma 150-500mm, the Orang Utang was taken using the Nikon 105mm Macro lens and the Polar Bear was taken by 18-200mm VR Nikon lens.

Haha..this thread grew so fast... I do not even have time to scroll down to see the rest of the message;p

Thank you bro emotic. First time capturing animals.. a bit blur blur. Lucky I have bro Faizal and Chooi Mei with me...else dunno what to do. ;p

Bro, your images.. Marvellous.

Oh..wah...not easy to comment on clubsnap...will be easier in Flickr I think...I will try anyway.;)

Dear Bro Dev & Bro Ardaan.

Please feel free to c&c our shots la ... promise we wont cry in the thread.

Bro Fatah, my monitor look ok...but it can be due to uncalibrated monitor..which is quite normal. My office Dell monitor would look terribly underexposure and my office Compaq notebook would look incredibly bright.

I have same problem when showing the pictures on projected screen too ;)

I recommend the Spyder3 calibration tool...I used it on my LG 22 inch monitor...very accurate:D

BTW, I did not use HDR for all the photos. Its my Cade Processing technique to give the 3D effect.

K affan, power la the pic..i really love the tiger and the lion...

can i comment,, for the ameng..composition is nice, but,,,,hehehe did u trying to mingle with hdr on this..anyway for the baby ahmeng is ok..the colour is just fine. but i can spot on papa ahmeng,,the skin tone is like too over contrast, it blush out. especially on the forehead..anyway i knew its difficult right to control..overall. u champion la. Good composition. fierce tiger, narnia part 3. and planet of the ape. cooll..keep it up

5 starrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hi Bro William,

Your control of exposure is good. I can still see details despite the tiger being white.
Composition wise can be improved by either crop in to face...or not to cut away limbs or ear of tiger. And follow the rule of third (especially the eyes).

The tiger's face seemed a bit soft on second picture.

Hope my comment help.

can you teach us that technique as well when we come over? or is it possible to be explained over here? for the benefit of those who cant make it over and yet want to learn abt this as well..

;) Bro De3pster, that will be very difficult. It involves some 15 steps and each step has smaller steps in them... haha... I think just get use to the basic processing technique first..then we can go deeper into other styles later. :bsmilie:

Bro Ardaan, will increase in color sat help to compensate for 'soft' pics. or other methods?

Afraid it won't really help.. but can try increase contrast and sharpening.

increase of contrast and sharpening is a must in digital photography :D

Bro Cakka

Went CSC today to get my cam fixed. Had to change the focus screen cost $25. They had it done in less than an hour:thumbsup:

One advice from them...never touch your cam inside...just blow..and doesnt matter if the mirror is dirty cos it only serves to reflect the view from the lens to the viewfinder.

Lucky only $25 ! Lesson learnt !
