Thks Cakka! That one was easy cos natural leak no need control tap hahaha...just control shutter! Home tap i haven try..show us when you got it ok? So hows your day with your 50mm? I see you guys had a really good time...you mean the guys from Canon came down surprisingly ? That's really some extra miles they went to! So now I know CAKKA is the shiny one...who's who in the pic???
Hi Cakka!
Not too bad for 20+ man leh!!! Were you using the 50mm? If u were trying to create the bokeh effect, then you need more distance between the main subject and the background. Netjack's last pic seems to capture the bokeh effect better. You also need bigger apertures and you should be using the centre focus point. I usually use 2.0 to 2.8 if i want to create bokeh effect. Of course these are just from my own experience...not PRO advise!
Sample taken using kit lens 18-55mm F3.5 but still manage to get quite good bokeh effect bcos my cam is very near the flower but the background is pretty far from the flower...

Just to add on to dev2k8's comments .. my previous camera was a CanonS3 .. since it doesn't have a big aperture .. the only way to get nice bokeh shots was to make sure the camera was closer to the subject than to the surroundings that you want to have be blur. So I am always on the lookout for situations like this. Of course the 50mm has a f/1.8 max aperture which makes it way easier.
Isn't that emotic?![]()
Bro Dev
Thank you for the comments, I need that.
For Pics 1 & 4, it was 50mm. Pics 2 & 3 was 100mm (Try out Canon's staff).
