Roc, no problem you left early. We need to balance our life.

Question : what i need to do/know to make the street lights appear like a 'sharp star'. like your first pic.

oh bro, it could be the aperture settings too.. i used f16-22 yesterday for the entire shoot.

aperture too plays a part..

notice the shape of the iris if i used larger aperture(f16, etc)?

f3.2 tend to blur the picture.
f16 sharpen the picture..

this one correct me if i'm wrong..

always got mix up with the the aperture thingy la:P

haha cakka , i think i also need another attempt xD
my shots all not good =.=

Yo bro Chakka...
Me also experience the pathetic ball coming out on my pics during my 1st night shot with mahathir..then mahathir told me to take out the filter. den it looks better..
& what rockfreak saying is true about the aperture and the shutter speed..both do play as part.

below are the example..(i shot this without filter on)as u can see the lights at the corner are beautifully shape like a star.

Did anyone encounter photos that are not properly focused in dim light conditions using 1000D and built-in flash?
I had this problem when taking photos for my friend's event.

Is this due to aperture? Handshake?

thank you.
