I hope I could appreciate HDR and accept the weird colours and details. Would you be able to process it more naturally ?

I think this is personal taste... for me its just strange...but to others it may be interesting...;p

[1] Manila - Street Boy of Baclaran Terminal

This sad street boy was looking at me distributing the 'bog' game that I bought for the rest of the street kids.
Unfortunately, he was not with the group earlier when I did the counting....Anyway, I went back to the stall and bought some more for him and those left out ones.
I would be disappointed if I could not do this little favor. My friend and I managed to reach out to around 11 of them.
They are all God’s children and demand our attention.

A curious child looking out from a hut. This image was taken at Lorega - the village where the villagers live with the dead.
It is a squatter in a cemetery.

erhm perspective wise, the block behind is very distracting, and let me guess its at sengkang right.

Okay back to topic,

you shouldn't stick to HDR only. Maybe you should explore the tools found in photoshop, learn and understand every single tools found in photoshop. That way, you can try out many styles and maybe one day you can come out with your very own effects? Draken effects VS Dragan effects? ahahaha!

Anyway, this is how i see/my preferences la. I would dodge and burn those dark clouds with blue background, making it gloomy...

And as for that two statues, i would burn the outline thus making them stand out.

And of course, my taste would be a slight saturated and contrasted picture lah.

just my two cents.

Noted Roc, However I did do pretty much those stuff you said but I toned down opacity abit cause I don't like too contrasted images. Looks strange sometimes.

Fun fact.. this is my second hdr image since the zoo. lol All the others were DRI.

Oh btw the temple was taken in sengkang and I don't really like the photo as it's not centralised.. I took it from an angle cause I was afraid a car might horn me from the back.

image is blur(looking at outline of the building) .. is it due to camera shake? the rainbow looks kinda dull.. maybe you increase the contrast abit and it might work out better.. and adjust your sharpness..

Out with some of the guys just now after that seminar. Dunno where to go, what to shoot. when I saw this. Just whip out and shoot. Hence, the noise and stupid colors. No composition. Nothing. urgh. But lucky i didnt take my own sweet time to shoot, coz before we know it, the rainbow was gone.

anyway here is my shoot at the rainbow

and some bokeh fun I did
i somehow lazy to do proper shots today. All about experimenting.
i promise i put up better ones next time

No time to process photo...I was busy watching MAN U vs Fulham while processing this photo...OMG, how could MU lost to Fulham,.... horrible.

Kinda moody thus produce this scary and 'horror' image ...

The fading rainbow :embrass:. Taken at high ISO of 1600. I did not do it on purpose...I have actually forgotten to set the ISO speed back to 400 after taking some paparazi shots of Deepster and partner :embrass:
Too new to this 40D..sigh.
