*did small dodge and burning...

*not draken effect or what so ever hor.. Basically, just dramatise the eyes and of course with dodge and burning, and also darken the surrounding, so therefore, it arrow straight to the subject.

Bro, go easy on the dodging and burning. Shadows under and above the eyes should be lightened. Skin tones should remain natural, and I notice a stark difference in tones of her face and hand. Her hand looks like its from somewhere else.

And the OOF object to the bottom left is disturbing. But you're already in tight so I assume you can't crop any further.

And remember to charge your camera batts before going to SSS. :nono:

i like this one personally. the bokeh effect nice. maybe include his marksman batch also if u see him again. hahaha.
anyway its like recruitment advertisement for Aetos. Its Aetos Police ah. not P O L I C E ah.

shouldnt have cut off the water. Anyway, if you lower down the ISO, put the smallest apeture ie f22 of f32 and expose it to long shutter, u get the 'foggy' effect from the water.

or simply using a ND filter will do the job.

you always wanted to have that right?? hahaha.

the gang that went out on the 120409 outing. a few left earlier. We got to the mrt station at 2330hrs le and i guess beer and photography mix well in a way.

Next outing coming this friday at Punggol / Pasir ris / Changi / Malaysian Railway station / Bintan / Sulawesi. Hahaha

The following shot is a "the-making-of-this-group-photo" shot of the above. Not exactly the same .. we took 2 group shots .. fedo only posted the first one .. this shot is the second shot taken. Just to give you an idea of how close we were able to take the group photo with Fedo's ultra-wide. Sorry no time to post-process this. Some blurring cos it was on a pretty long shutter but the nice thing is you can see the flash firing.

Bro, no offence but your images seem abit 'dead'.
You might want to increase the saturation to bring out the greens especially for nature shots.

Just my thoughts.
