Hi Stevewhy

I feel like getting the Raynox CM-3500 for my Nikon D40 with 55 - 200 mm lens.
Hope can get this kind of magnification like yours...

Never try Raynox product before so No comment.
Hope you can achieve what you aim for. ;)

Thank you solbadguy

Most of my lens I used masking tape to tape it together with the rings to screw on to the camera, except this one I used bluetag no ring, ya. need to have some lens knowledge. ;)

Hi guys,

I came across the phrase 'flat focus plane' in reference to macro photography to maximise details and images. But what does that mean? I googled and did not find any reasonable explanation.

Thanks in advance!

Not sure in what context, but in macro, you try to get the areas you want in focused and within the DOF all in one single plane. For e.g. its better to take the subject side on (parallel to the camera sensor) so that the head to tail would be sharp and detailed as its in the DOF. If its slightly off (non-parallel) u might get the head in focus, but the body oof.

I think that is it. Thanks for the tip tchuanye!
