the 2 pictures that didnt work for me is #5 (the table should have some sort of item, eg. a glass of drink, to defray the overwhelming blue?)
and #11, seems rather more like a casual snapshot, kinda boring. :think:

on a side note,
#10 is not hunched back right ? subject is leaning on the wall ? subject's could use more than 1 facial expression..
you have v.interesting phrases for your theme, 40D + 85L?

I should be responsible on that, still learning to communicate and pose models better..

technically the pictures are very good. nice bokeh, good use of natural light, pretty model, relaxed poses, tilt isn't overly done.

but is it just me or does this model seem to have only one expression?

#10 she's leaning against the balcony.. facial expression is also part of my problem lah.. I tends to choose the smiling expression and didnt give much instructions.. :embrass:

My cam used in this shoot is not 40D, need to subtract 35 from that..

OT: if you want to use something 'cheapo' for a change, do consider the 24-85mm consumer grade lens.. had seen v.power pics coming out from 5D with this lens.. :lovegrin:
