Hi, I have a 300 2.8 non-IS which I used as a birding lens for a very short time before buying a bigger lens. I am actually not thinking of selling it as it is such a beauty just to look at it and I collect a series of prime lenses just for fun. But if you really really need such a lens, please let me know what you plan to shoot. Also why not consider the IS version as it wlll be more versatile.
