I think the LED one is better leh. I've both. In two weeks time I'll tell you how the LED one perform underwater. :) I was at the dive shop the other day ah, the uncle showed me one UK torch which uses a HID bulb. Damn solid ah! And the tag on this baby is $300+ :o

hmmm....models got very good figures one leh. If you are taking about capturing a hippo underwater, maybe I can help on that. Anyway I went to get my Q40 LED liao...hehehe will see how useful this new toy will be.

I've got a Q40 but now got new Q40 its LED white light...:) This new torch cos ard $80+. I was hoping that it will brighten up my pictures even more, getting slightly better pictures for the time being...while i save up for the strobe :embrass:. This Ah Mui dun do big business lah so dun earn much!

Here are the pictures!!! ;) I noticed that while flashing the object from certain angle will cast a shadow onto the object. If there's an object in btw the corals, the internal strobe is bright enough to capture the object. And using internal strobe for every pictures uses up my battery in no...

Hi Hi...thanks for all your help! I understand that a strobe will cost at least $400+. I dun have the money yet leh. And I will be diving soon. I dun mind getting a high end torch to aide my photography. P.S. Btw how do I use the script thingy to post photos ah?

It was my first time using my underwater housing for my Ixus 430 recently over the weekend. I've noticed that the flash wasn't sufficient. Can I use the torch for additional lightning? Well I'm not willing to spend alot of money to gear up this underwater housing, in case I will be up grading...

I'm just curious how you guys arrange your camera and gears in this bag. Were you able to retrieve the camera w/o putting down the bag? I've been trying to do so but failed! I will like to get some advise from you all!!! :think:
