interesting.......the blue sandisk 8gb class 4 card that came with my bundle is so slow that it can only record 720p 60fps for 8 seconds. care to elaborate more about the class 6? how long can it last per clip? im considering whether to get a 8GB class 6 or class 10 now. :dunno:

alright. i shall be contented with a class 4, for now, while scouting for a class 6. they are pretty hard to find.

does the 60d have any compatibility issues with some sd cards? im getting the canon recommended class 6 or higher sd card for hd video recording. i went to the sandisk website and selected the 60d for "SanDisk Product Compatibility" and no class 6 cards showed up. there are only class 10...

i like the 60d for its 2 selection wheels that gives me quick access to both the shutter speed and aperture at the same time. i think its very useful for manual mode. having used a dslr with such a feature, i can no longer live without it.

eye-fi s are not that accurate. i rmb reading it somewhere abt tagging at least 1 street away from the correct location. anyway, you might want to look at this eye-fi forum thread. http://forums.eye.fi/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=569

haha. thanks. i dont like how the nikon feels and sounds. im planning to do hd video recording and nikon doesnt have much to offer in this area imo. i think the 60d is perfect for travel due to its articulated screen and unparalleled hd recording.

perhaps i will pair the 60d with the 15-85mm first, get to know the 60d better and buy the 17-55mm next time. starting afresh now. was on a nikon before this. canon seems quite different. i will miss grid lines in nikon viewfinders....

hi raydio! is the EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS USM considered a midrange zoom? looks pretty good to me........

@ icychilled wow. you were right. i just came back from my trip down to mustafa and canon link at vivocity, 50mm on the 60d feels kind of awkward.

ive checked a few forums and some reviews on sigma lenses. there seen to be much love and also much hate for it. lens flares and slow af? how do you guys find sigmas? i see that many of you are using them...
