I have focusing problems with my new M9!! Out of 4 pieces of summilux 50/1.4 (v1, v2, v3 black, v4 E46), when shot wide open, only the E46 focuses perfectly, both near (0.7m) and far (100m). The v3 black is perfectly focused at 1m, but out at 50m (back focused). Both v1 and v2 are front...

I used to have an M8. While I remember its LCD to be not so great, but it is no where as bad as the M9's. Agreed that it is a pleasant surprise when I see the great image on a MBP :)
