    Nathan, I think you're talking about the "true" pixels, like Foveon. Cameras using the Bayer-type sensors (such as the D100) interpolate the sensor data to give you 6 MP.

    I told them I found the images soft, so they checked it. And voila, it came back with firmware version 1.2. :)

    To sum it up for me: Good: Macro shots, twisting body, compact size Bad: Shutter lag, 'soft' images, useless optical viewfinder I don't really use flash, so the lack of a hotshoe doesn't bother me. Don't try shooting sports or action with this camera. One more thing, get spare batteries...

    Yea. What's the best price you can get us? Given the information by aosis. I would be interested, but would it work with my Nikon Coolpix 4500? The compatibility charts lists the previous models (995, 990, 950...) and the 5000, and it looks like it works with the 5700.
