    Got my 5D Mark II recently. Has anyone been using a PHOTTIX BATTERY GRIP BP-5D II (BG-E6) and what is your take on it? I am a hobbyist, hence don't think I wanna spend $300+ on a Canon BG-E6.

    Having need to show profitability for each business centre, they would have to achieve economy of scale and maintain sustainable business model. These would increase the bottom line and not constant P&L. If Canon pricing is similar worldwide, maybe its also good to apply the theory to Apple...

    Well, every business centre has to generate income for themselves to survive and proof to be viable and profitable. Even the operational or backroom has to somewhat be a profit centre in this new era. It's a competitive environment now even within the same organization ... :)

    This is correct, I was told by Canon CSC that international warranty has ceased from 1 Aug 2010.
