Hmm, that's odd? I'm having no issues here on the MacPros and mbp with sound.. yes playing audio does take up some processing but not enough to hang or whatever.. what issues are you actually having? :think:

More often than not, 3rd party always over rate their batteries.. the concern here wouldn't be the mah value, but how safe are their lithium batteries.. without proper circuit discharge protection, you risk either short circuiting the camera (worse case) or a battery than won't last a year..
