Monopods -- Benro Aluminum & Carbon Fiber Monopods

Jack, I'm terribly disappointed to discover that I have been charged so much more for your aluminium monopod (A25FBR0 (MP-25EX) = $58). I paid $80. I blame myself for not checking this site beforehand considering this isn't my first purchase from you, and my previous transaction was pleasant. I...

    Why we need Post Processing?

If you have shot with film cameras before...a certain amount of post processing also takes place in the darkroom. Its no different from what we do now digitally.

    tripod or flash

I think the tripod comes first. You can still use the pop up flash on your camera until you are ready to invest in a proper flash unit.

Is it a good timing to buy resale flat now?

Seems like property prices are just gonna keep going up & up with the gahmen coming out to say that the economy is picking up. (More like a reason to give themselves a pay raise if you ask me...) You could cut your losses and grab a resale now or queue with the rest of us & wait for your chance...

High ISO Noise: Questions & Observations

A point & shoot in the hands of Ansel Adams will easily outdo a wannabe carrying the latest and most expensive equipment.

    Shinkansen seating info

From my experience, seat reservation can only be done when you get your tickets in Japan. What they give you here is a voucher to exchange for the JR pass. It seems that reserved seats are allocated to specific cabins. The space behind for large luggage depends if someone hasn't already taken...

    Grainy photos taken

Check if your Auto ISO is on in the first place. The camera could have automatically pushed the ISO up if this was turned on. I doubt the D300 would perform so poorly at ISOs 200-400.

    Desktop for Photoshop

I've been using the mac for years and have never had problems with the provided mouse. I really think its a matter of preference. If its an issue you can use any other USB mice, shouldn't have any compatibility problems.
