Urgh, blinking light just happened to me too. CF light suddenly went blinking as i was reviewing pics. Guess its time to send it in for repair and upgrade the firmware. bought mine march 2004, haven`t use for one-two mth, means broken just after warranty yucks

I use NC for my workflow for my D70 to convert to Tiffs, guess that wb issues would not be a problem for me, if i ever get to buy D2x anyway. Great Cammera!

Do this catalogs have high reflectance? Also, the colors have no baseline to compare against,as the colors may not have been softproofed?
