Any S9 users around ? I'm interested in this camera as it suit my budget. Read some reviews, most only comment on the poor battery life. Beside that any users here got other feedbacks ?

Since u not recommending Nikon PnS, then got any good recommendation for a budget of $400 ? Btw, wat model of nikon did u used that din give u nice travel pics ?

I'm also currently looking for one under $400. Only looking at Panasonic and Nikon camera. Fuji seem ok but they using xD card, so i'll give it a miss. Got bad encounter with Canon so i'll pass them as well. Anyone got any good recommendation for Pana n Nikon one ?

Enough said about my comments. I'm just giving my personnal opinion on the products. I'll sure Canon have their own QC. If their QC failed to pick out the A70 defects, are u sure they won't failed in own models too ? Anyway, their free repaired have come a little too late. This problem...

That's what i've been telling my friends...Canon products dun last and not to buy Canon products.

U're lucky to get the upgrade after faxing to Canon Malaysia and the CEO but dun think that will work in S'pore.

At least Sony are brave enough to admit their products defect and offer free repair. For Canon A70 users, u gotta fork out $140 from ur own pocket and get it repair. Both also Japan brand, but got different standards in servicing.

So far any new from them ? My A70 still sitting inside the storeman collecting dust.

When u sent in the camera for repair after the 1st warranty period which is covered by the manufacturer it's FOC. Anything after that will be charged to those stores which provide extended warranty, Hav. Norman, Best Denki...etc

No parts changed and still cost $63 ? I was told that my repair (labour+spares) will cost $140.

Sian, then wat's the point of shooting video without sound ? Seem like both LS1 and LZ1 both no sound video cos read from review that LZ1 got no sound for video.

Read from reviews that S1 take abt 4s to recover from previous shots. Tried it on Comex on Friday and indeed find that it take quite long b4 u can take another shot. Any S1 users can comment on that ? Also thot of getting a S1 intially. Now having 2nd thot liao

Both cameras when doing video recording cannot record the sound issit ? Just pure record the motion picture but without the voice ? Wanted to buy either one but read from a review that both cannot record with sound. Wanna confirm with the users here 1st b4 buying. If that's the case, then...
