I'm thinking about using a normal deuter speedlite 20 backpack.. If put the tripod in the main compartment, the top will stick out abit after the Zipper? Unless the bag height is high enough..

Hi the equipments I have are 5100 kit, 35mm, Lumix lx7 and sirui T1204 tripod. The current bags I have are crumpler 6md bag, kata grip 14. I will be going to Cambodia soon and I'm looking for a shoulder backpack for the above equipmenys. Any recommendation? Thanks

going to cambodia in dec..thinking should I buy tokina 11-16mm for this and future trip? Currently have kit lens and 35mm, not sure whether the kit lens can cover the landscape? Anyone tried before is it allowed if I put my naked tripod into the backpack on budget airline carry on luggage?
