Hey guys, Maxtec has launched during the last IT fair in End Aug, early Sept, the new CANON PG-5BK, 8BK/c/m/y. It does not come with the chip, as the chip is patented and impossible to re-design one. So the end-users have to "slide" out their existing chip from the original cartridge...

Which printer model are U using.. For HP Compatible cartridges, you could try MAXTEC.... There is avail compatible for HP21,22, HP56,57, HP15/45/78......, HP 27/28. cheers and regards

There is only compatible cartridges for BCI-6BK series but not the 8 series. You can try the brand "MAXTEC" for your compatible cartridges. cheers

I must admit on a personal note that CISS is a wonderful technology, not perfect yet though, barely acceptable for users who wants economical prints, becoz it really helps to save cost... However CISS will become redundant when cost of cartridges falls drastically which I do not think it will...

Boh Bian, inks stays at the "suction" area, the sponge area, thus clogging occurs if unused for sometime....... Same theory for cars, long time no drive, also battery weak mah, or long time no exercise, become lethargic... Hee...

Epson printers has lower volume cartridges, at 7ml only. This is for the new models Epson has launched recently. You would see the cartridges no. 751,752,753 and 754... And another type is 731,732,733,734. All are low volume at 7ml, meaning the cartridges can run out real fast. HP printers...

Of coz Original OEM cartridges give the most optimal results in prints.... More expensive to use of coz..... As for the compatible ink cartridges, cost is lower becoz lesser R&D is put into. And usually they have to wait for a period of time for the original cartridges to get popular, and...

If I not wrong, Canon 24BK is dye-ink, only their new 40BK is Pigment ink. As for 24BK, I think I suggest just go get the cartridge la, so cheap already, why spend the hassle to do refill
