[Spoiler Alert] My movie review: Avatar offers more than meets the eye

after all the hype and good reviews pelted out, i went to watch it, and left without any special feelings and a backache. admittedly, i was hoping for some breakthrough in the war scenes, but am sorely disappointed.

    Landing of Air Force One

i am deeply impressed by your dedication. it probably serves a good example for all photogs that sometimes, the story behind the photo is just as, if not more important.

    Marina Flyer

apart from the tilt i like it. i would actually crop it down to 16:9 or 16:8. or keep more sky than water.

    Find Your Purpose

great idea! but like many others, i can't pinpoint the "story" you're trying to tell here. seems to me the person isn't really looking at the poster. i've seen the poster before and i think you prob could take it in full color, might work better if the person in question here is wearing a...

    Mac Vs Pc

i think as with all electronics, there's always luck and how you use your device factors involved. well for me, 5 years of mac for me, 1 iBook and 1 Macbook, no problems ever. simultaneously, 5 years, and 4 PC changes, eventually got tired of DIY troubleshooting and got a HP desktop that...

    Grandma Oh Grandma...

i like the content and your intention, and for a impromptu shot i think its excellent. however, as night86mare said, the building in the background kinda spoils the overall feel. as much as i want to focus on the story you're telling, i can't help but notice the cut-across building :( i...

    Friends

similarly i also like the first overexposed photo much better than the second. i think its ok to sometimes over expose or under expose certain photos, composition is great, it tells a good story.

    B747 Engine

interesting! but like what cabby said, its not really relevant to most people who don't really understand or appreciate. from a engineering photo point of view, i find it hard to find the subject in that photo.

    Planning go taiwan for honeymoon

agreed totally. returned from taipei recently, brought a LX3 and 350D with 2 lens. if you're going on a free and easy tour, i suggest just using a PnS. that's what i actually used 80% of the time.

Any recommendation for Canon EOS 350D?

I've started my journey in photography with a 350D and I think it isn't half bad. good starter kit. reasonable control and functions. just make sure you get one with decent workability. in due time you might want to upgrade via previlege purchase.
