For me I preferred the menu of the Canon, so I got it. The Nikon's menu was too complicated for me, since I'm switching over from Sony. I also like Canon's range of lenses more than Nikon, though some of their lenses are so expensive :P (Canon's 28mm 1.8 compared with Nikon's 35mm 1.8).

Ah, just how many years have I been waiting for Nikon to release their own 70-200 f/4 ? Way to go! :bsmilie:

I use it for some light bird photography while travelling, and for everything else my 15-85 cannot reach. The longer primes and 100-400 are too heavy for my purposes :D

Just curious about all these shooting birds thing. Do you guys mean birds in flight or birds on trees? Or maybe both? I'm planning to get a tele for shooting stationery birds perching on trees etc. Originally thought that max focal length of 200 on a crop body should be enough for my purposes...

Orient Photo has the complete range IIRC. Pretty expensive though. Alternatively just buy direct from the distro. Cheaper than buying from Orient from my experience.

Haha need to upgrade liao I think. Hadley Large seem kinda small now. Have to stuff in 60D with EF-S 15-85mm, Sigma 30mm 1.4, EF 70-300mm L, battery charger, rocket blower and all my other personal stuff (book, gel, snacks etc X_X) One big qn I have for owners, does the 307 offer a lot more...

For my needs the 15-85 is wide enough. I'll only use the 10-22 if I upgrade to those EF L lenses like the 24-105, or if I really need an UWA.

Hey Snow do you have any problems taking pictures with it in the fading light? The f/4-5.6 of this lens is pretty worrying for me.

+1 for Billingham. I'm using a Hadley Large. Stylish, British, expensive, and totally worth it if you are willing to shell out the money for one. Waterproof and extremely durable. It'll take a lot to rip the bag :D

Idk why, but canon's user interface just seems more appealing to me than nikon or sony etc :D
