    Canon Service just got back to me...the cost of just cleaning the sensor is approx $21.40. Hope this helps. =)

    I got the same problem too. As I was checking my camera for an overseas trip, i realized that there is a black speck on the right of my picture. But it is only visible with photos taken at f20 and above. I blowed the surface of my lens and and mirror but it still there. I suppose it is dust...

    Wow! Thank you everyone for the comments and advice! Will go for 55-250mm too as I realize I need the range at 55mm as well and IS is huge important factor not to miss out. Will save me the hassle of changing lens when i need to shoot at 55mm at the same time!:bsmilie:

    Hey! Thanks for the comment on their speed on af!:D From what I understand, there is a manual ring on it, no? Will switching over to manual focus allows one to focus at higher speed?
