Why not look for a Nikon FM2 or a FE2. I have an FE2 and it works really well...

Camera Hospital was charging around $150 - $200 to fix something in my FE2 winder, clean the view finder, and service the camera. I didn't go ahead as it was just too much, De Camera Consultant on the other hand, cleaned my viewfinder and fixed the winder in less then 10mins for $20 :)

Yes, didn't check a 2nd hand lens properly, after getting it checked by a camera consultant, its Optical Axis is off... Haven't come abt to fixing it as its just a painful sum of money...
