have you tried manual focusing with magnification? BecauseI have seen slt units with missed focus problem.
if its so not sharp, probably it is out of focus.
i have eard that they throw in free original battery with the nex 5 and nex3, and while that promo is not existent in the sony website.
wat is the other promo like that? espescially for the SLT and NEX cameras

A mint set from the U.S, bought in october before local set was available.
Later found out that I never used this...
the drawback is the lack of fast primes for portraits.
we need equivalents of
50mm f1.8 / f1.4 (at comparable prces as slr lenses)
85mm f1.4
135mm f2.8
hmmm, so the cautions in the manual is only freaking us out?
and the cracking lens part is a joke right??? but moisture condensation between bus/hotels and snow will be a problem right? How to deal with that?
Anyone tried the 70-210 f3.5-4.5?
Its a third faster on the short and a third slower at the end than the beercan. This cost less than beercan, but also weights much less!
Certainly beats the 55-200 imo
I am planning to go to koreea this dec, which is winter.
Will a700 weather sealing good enough for the weather? I dont have sealed lenses, is it safe to use regular lenses?
If i am using a33, is there any risk on damaging it in the snow?
Or i should just get an olympus e3 then sell it...
