for me, I am for the 24-70 anytime. I can't live without 2.8, especially to take pix of my kids. :) I have no problem lugging it with my 5D2 for 5hrs at a go and shooting 70-80% of the time.. but this is just me. To each its own, why not you go and rent and see what meets yr needs in all...

How about the lowepro slingshot. I used it initially for my 400D+gripe+ 17-55mm lens + 550 exflash + 50mm lens. Even now with a 5Dmkii + 70-200mm f2.8 + 24-70mm f2.8 + 550 ex flash it still fits fine. Intact I just carry these with me for a shot this morning!!!

I wun be as I have no further need for anything higher spec. The 5d mkii will serve me well as I am not into photgraphy professionally. Moreover the IQ and specs on it is all I would ever use coupled with two top notch lens I got. Upgrading for me would only be in the form of adding new lens. Ü...
