How the American bankers destroy the world

They did not exactly went in with eyes closed. In fact went in with eyes wide open and did their research, unfortunately, they believed in the wrong advice, namely S&P (the definitive authority in CDO rating). Before Jul07, S&P rated 73 out of 93 CDO subprime with better than A- grade (15/93 =...

    Featured in Asian Diver

Just got my copy today. Looking at the content page and found your portfolio is in pg70, then try to look for the page number and cannot find the number on the page. Only notice the number on Asian Diver is at the side of the page and not the usual top or bottom of page after I found your...

    More pix on Tubbataha Philippines

Very nice photos indeed. The clarity in #1 is good. Notice some black corner in top of photo #4, is it due to vignetting of the lens or just the way you have planned the lighting?

    Some macro from sipadan/mabul/kapalai

Very nice photos. I think it is also call a painted frogfish. What I would like to know is what is the thing in the photo before the yawning frogfish. Some kind of eel? kthan, whaleshark is much easier to ID. ;p

    Sipadan, 23-28 May

Nice photos and videos. Sunburst for #3 and #10 do look better than #4. Particularly those from #10 where nearer the surface and give the light more fluid movement due to the surface wave. Do feel than some photo is slightly over expose, power of twin strobes?

Sogod Bay, Philippines - March 3rd to 9th: Whalesharks!

Actually I did do the adjustment and tested the setting. It is just that during the excitement of the whaleshark, I pressed the shutter button thinking it will start recording but it did not. So when I try to stop the recording, it actually started recording. And this carried on for a couple of...

Sogod Bay, Philippines - March 3rd to 9th: Whalesharks!

Finally I have processed my photos. Didn't have any good photo, that probably excuse the slowness of the processing. My WS photo were not good and there are many nice photo from RSU already, so will post some macro instead. Tried shooting some video, but learn a very important lesson...

Very nice photos and good captures of the whalesharks and other props (like humans). Did you scare away all of them? Hope we can be so lucky too when we visit next week.

    What is "TTL"

Just when you thought it is safe to enter water again, something just pop out and throw everything back to limbo again. Hotshoe is the price determination factor of the camera, Cheap Point and Shoot, no hotshoe, only build-in flash Prosumer, some have some don't and with build-in flash...

    Causes of flooding (of camera)

I already have 1 paper weight. I will take better care of my camera and housing. Hopefully it will not be another flood that kills it. O-rings are still the most probable cause of flooding. So remember to clean and maintain all o-rings, change them when necessary. Also take care when handling...

    Causes of flooding (of camera)

Maybe they were doing negative entry and fully deflated their BCD. Once you go straight into the water and notice the flood it will all be too late. Now, with 1 hand holding the camera over your head and just one other hand for holding mask and weight belt, which 1 are you holding? Or is it...

    What is "TTL"

I think you might have just done what Zippsy fear. You might have confused him. :dunno: :) Different housing which have TTL function enabled should also have the respective circuitry available for use. Is it true? Or is it still strobe, housing and camera dependent? Heard that S5 Pro is...
