i think so too....am holding back till after xmas...probably next yr price might drop..esp when new digital cam models are being launched

my main camera will still be FZ50...LX3 is just for fun and something that i use when i really wish to travel light...

yesterday..i was at harbourfront and checked out this electronic shop (located near ferry check-in)...was quoted $679 for LX3 (there's still stock) and comes with a 4-GB card and casing. they seem pretty negotiable...'cos we were also asking for the price of TZ15 and they were willing to match...

i see...so it's a decent cam lah. i'll let my hub decide for himself....he seems pretty fixated on it already :bsmilie:

haven't decided to buy the LX3 yet....i thot it might be a good complement to my FZ50...but not sure if i'll really wanna lug along 2 cams (or 3 if you include my holga) when i travel....but having seen the photos posted in the LX3 threads...i'm seriously tempted. if i do buy...i'll probably buy...

haha...i hope he thinks that way too ;p anyway...i know you've got the TZ15 right? saw some of your zoomed shots of the F1....how has it been so far? would you recommend getting it? my hub's requirement is for camera to have a good zoom.

just called up Parisilk...TZ15 going for $515 (cash/nets only) bundled with 2x 4GB SD card and original camera casing. MS selling the same bundle for $520 (cash/nets only)...if paying by credit card must add 2%.

i usually get my cams from parisilk. but always call for a verbal quote first (i usually call transit shop) to see if what they are offering is attractive. remember to take down the name of the person of whom you've spoken to (obtained quote from). then feel free to go down to any other branches...

you are definitely not. i've been using the FZ50 since 2006...have been following your thread since i've joined clubsnap...but never contributed.
