    No mate....with big ticket items you can pre-arrange with dealers to pay thru card. Also...I transfer (pay for my credit card) the money on-line thru my savings A/c ...so no charge...and no credit line to maintain. Has worked well for me in the past. I have done this in the past for OCBC...

    Nah.....no need to withdraw and deposit.....I just transfer money on-line.....and get the balance in my card. When I changed my car last year....I paid $30K downpayment like this.....transferred the money to card....made payment.....got loads of points.... :p
