Great macros!:thumbsup: I am using the raynox with a lumix superzoom. The magnification is quite extreme, and the DOF is paper thin. You have a nice combo there with your prime lens.

A few bird close ups at the park yesterday with the FZ28. RC #1 Yellow-Crowned Night Heron #2 Black-Crowned Night Heron #3 Snowy Egret #4 Blue Jay #5 Yellow-Crowned Night Heron

No macro, just the kit lens used. Got as close as possible and still had to crop. Took about 50 shots just to get a few keepers. I did not know you can't get the same effect near equator. Would a higher drop make a difference? RC

Hi, I used camera flash. I tried a few more with a Canon 450D this time. I think they turned out sharper than the FZ28. My settings: 1/200s, F11, iso 100 Manual focus I put a color plastic bag behind the water dish to add some drama to the pics. RC
