I heard many gd things of 50D and this lens..I tried my dad's 1000D and got hooked onto DSLR... If u ask me 500D or 550D, I don't want bcos I don't want to take video. I like taking photos.. From a PnS to a 1000D...now i want something of my own..so got this combo :)
