True, I find i use wide-angle more often than I do tele when I travel, but the occasional tele-shots of the 'buddha head' or 'cute kid across the park' do invariably appear and these may be some of the most endearing shots of the day that I would really hate to miss Having to change/pack...

Any opinions, anybody? Looking at this particular model from a 'general purpose, on-the-camera-most-of-the-time, for travel' point of view... Is this piece of glass good value or should I look elsewhere? Thank you
