I agree to a large extent that.... just kidding, haha dam nice lighting la :thumbsup: If I have to setup my lighting like that for my macro shots, the insect has to be either dead or it has to be a snail... lol

benedetto13, did you follow the metering or were u just randomly adjusting. You just need to refer to the light meter to adjust for the correct exposure.

Wow... wonder if any panasonic personal sees this, i hope they do! I take mainly macro photos and I think the closeup filter + FZ50 is the best combo ever, beats many dSLR macro photos! I've just started shooting in RAW and thus only just discovered one of the limitations of the FZ50 - Slow...

haha... okie... do u have any experience with sunpak 383? do you or anyone know what shutter speeds the shutter can sync to?

ahh ok thanks... because i tried a ringflash of unknown brand, maybe suntax or sunpak on my FZ-50 and it didnt respond. Must i change any settings when using non-dedicated flashes?

hmmm, just curious... does this mean any flash can work on the FZ-50, just that it may not be dedicated?

just wondering, why does panasonic charge such a high price for the DMW FL-360 when its the same as the FL-36... i think?

FL-36 does work with panasonic, the ones panasonic sells are exactly the same, but for some reason they sell it more expensive:dunno: i've read from forums that everything works just fine, ttl and all. and i think a softbox should solve the problem of vignetting if there is any.
