Using the right settings to get the right image, you take some you lose some. Its a delicate game of balance. Most modern cameras are capable of making good images in good hands. Take good advice seriously or learn the hard way. Keep shooting and practising. :)

I agree with this. Nothing wrong with HDR or any form of digital manipulation. It really depends on the purpose. If its for competitions, probably not accepted. There is no such thing as a "pure" digital image. The fact that an image is derived from the bayer interpolation with the channels...

Different cameras have different base ISOs, most of them are 100, several are 200 and also a handful at 50. Try to shoot at base ISO, RAW whenever you can, this is where you get the maximum dynamic range that the sensor can offer. Slap on a ND filter if required to get down to 30 secs exposure...

This is an accurate review of the Panosaurus 2.0. Thumbs up. Been using it since last year and its working well. Did all sorts of panoramas with it, from single to multi-level ones, serves its purpose. For that kinda price, can't complain much :)

I'd vote for the Tamron 28-75mm too. Used to own that piece of lens (BIM version), great IQ and decent AF speed (at least IMHO). Never had any issues with it when using on my D700. Focusing is quick under good lighting, struggles a little in dim conditions but not really that bad. Image quality...
