The USB port is one of those things that's easily overlooked when buying... Most transfer via card reader, and seldom with the USB port on camera, most won't tether... and importantly, it's not cheap trying to replace it

Pls check your USB port on your camera!!!

Your USB outlet isn't working, pretty certain it can't tether to computer... I don't think the camera has ever been serviced...
