Exactly that was my confusion :confused: 17-50 + 50-135/150 f2.8 OR 17-50 + 70-300 I think I can live with the small gap between 50-70. Can you give some more details on 17-50 + 50-135/150 f2.8 combo? Tokina? sigma? Nikon?

I find I am shooting more in the 28-70range so I want a fast lens. Probably I will sell the kit lens off. I tend to use longer focal lengths during travel. That is the reason for not settling for 80-200 (comparitively heavy) and still considering 70-300 VR.
