I've been trying to get the original HB-1 for my 35-70mm. Now using a third party one. There's no snap just becomes tighter as I screw it in. But I guess if its not falling off, it should be alright, right??

That's why you need to keep the stock lens hood properly even if you don't ever use it. Coz don't know if it will be valuable in the future. :bsmilie:

It's still the 17-35 for me. The lens is still servivg me fine after all these years!!

Hi TS, I had almost the same problem with my SB600. Sent to NSCand found out that the flash bulb was spoilt. changed itfor $10 but the service fee was the killer. Regardless everything works well now. Cheers!

Hi, I got the third party one for Canon flash from Orient. It fits snugly. Maybe you can get the diffuser there. Cheers!
