Hi TS, Usually some people will take 10-22 + 24-105. Or only 15-85 is enough if you are just a newbie. 10-22 not easy to get a nice photo. It's need time to practice before know how to use this lens well.

Top up a bit to buy 35mm f2 lens, dun buy 50mm 1.8 although it's very cheap, next lens will be 85 f1.8. 17-85 IS is valuable lens to keep. No need to change to some similar lens like 17-50.

Before you send for cleaning the sensor, should make sure the sensor is dirty.
