Get the Eneloops if you don't want to discharge and recharge your batteries just before using them. The normal rechargeable batteries just discharges too fast for my liking.

Call up Canon Service Centre, they are in the best position to answer you. As far as I know, they do not have any installment schemes, only the retailers.

I was monitoring the Sandisk Ultra II SDHC card prices lately and realised that the prices for 8GB SDHC rose by as much as $6 during the week before the PC Show and has stayed stagnant since. Even at the mark of $36, alot of shops didn't have stock for it. Hoping for it to drop back to $30 soon.
