i rented a 18-105mm lens months ago.. i find that the lens is very heavy than my camera body.. the result were inconsistance, some shots were beautiful.. some were not. i would suggest u to rent the lens and try it out urself before deciding which to buy..:)

Oic, what does it mean by (fast len)

i'm having 2 lens, 1 is kit len.. 1 is 55-200mm so which ISO etc i should use if i'm not using tripod? that night i tried scene mode like candle, high key, low key etc does not works well.. i tried these mode at a brighter environment compared to this halloween.. it works well..

Shanxi is a very nice place filled with alot of history.;) if possible, try to visit other area in Shanxi..:)

another option for u to visit hot spring other than Yang Ming Shan will be Wu Lai. it's a old town and easy to reach. u can take Mrt to Xin Dian then take a bus to Wu Lai or take a cab to WU Lai also can.. it's a nice place..:) I went to Jiufen and i'm a little regret that i do not have...
