    Nope, my walkaround lens is always on - even when in my bag - for snap-ready moments. What's the point of taking it off? It's like having a gun without the bullets, and when the enemy comes, u'd have to load the bullets - by which time you'd be dead.

    Check out this site www.toyoko-inn.com It's a chain hotel that offers really reasonable rates. I stayed in the hotel's single room in Himeji for 3 nights, and it was very pleasant. Room was small but, true to Japanese standards, was SUPER clean.

    Hi, it's most probably a speck of dust stuck on the pentaprism of your camera (the angled mirror in front of your viewfinder that reflects the image on your mirror). Best solution? Leave it alone as it doesn't affect your picture. If it does affect your picture, then it's dust on your sensor...
